I grew up in a family who¹s sole purpose in life was to ski
as often as possible. Major
discipline: Big Mountain Skier 2X World Freeskiing Champion, 1996 and
2000
Goals/aspirations
for the future: To continue to be a leader and trendsetter
in the sport of freeride skiing, to inspire millions of wannabees,
and to climb and ski in new places around the globe. The US continues
to be the birth place and focal point for many important trends in action
sports, and Freeride Skiing is no different. The USA has the best,most
innovative terrain parks and freestyle competitions in the World, andit
is the starting point of freeskiing big mountain events. While the bigmountain
competition scene appears to be losing momentum, the filming and photography
aspect of big mountain is still ruling.
People
you admire in or out of your discipline? Red Bull Acro Team guys. Basically
anyone who takes calculated risks furthering the development of sport.
What
keeps you motivated? My kids. They eat a lot!
What
are your hobbies? Paragliding, cycling road and mountain, climbing
rocks, ice, and big peaks, photography, writing, and showing my boys
tricks on the trampoline!
